Who is God? - The Fact

The fact of God’s existence is so conspicuous, both through creation and through man’s conscience, that the Bible calls the atheist a “fool” (Psalm 14:1). Accordingly, the Bible never attempts to prove the existence of God; rather, it assumes His existence from the very beginning (Genesis 1:1). What the Bible does is reveal the nature, character, and work of God.

Who is God? – The DefinitionThinking correctly about God is of utmost importance because a false idea about God is idolatry. In Psalm 50:21, God reproves the wicked man with this accusation: “You thought I was altogether like you.” To start with, a good summary definition of God is “the Supreme Being; the Creator and Ruler of all that is; the Self-existent One who is perfect in power, goodness, and wisdom.”

Who is God? – His NatureWe know certain things to be true of God for one reason: in His mercy He has condescended to reveal some of His qualities to us. God is spirit, by nature intangible (John 4:24). God is One, but He exists as three Persons-God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17). God is infinite (1 Timothy 1:17), incomparable (2 Samuel 7:22), and unchanging (Malachi 3:6). God exists everywhere (Psalm 139:7-12), knows everything (Psalm 147:5; Isaiah 40:28), and has all power and authority (Ephesians 1; Revelation 19:6). Who is God? – His CharacterHere are some of God’s characteristics as revealed in the Bible: God is just (Acts 17:31), loving (Ephesians 2:4-5), truthful (John 14:6), and holy (1 John 1:5). God shows compassion (2 Corinthians 1:3), mercy (Romans 9:15), and grace (Romans 5:17). God judges sin (Psalm 5:5) but also offers forgiveness (Psalm 130:4).

Who is God? – His WorkWe cannot understand God apart from His works, because what God does flows from who He is. Here is an abbreviated list of God’s works, past, present, and future: God created the world (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 42:5); He actively sustains the world (Colossians 1:17); He is executing His eternal plan (Ephesians 1:11) which involves the redemption of man from the curse of sin and death (Galatians 3:13-14); He draws people to Christ (John 6:44); He disciplines His children (Hebrews 12:6); and He will judge the world (Revelation 20:11-15).

Who is God? – A Relationship with HimIn the Person of the Son, God became incarnate (John 1:14). The Son of God became the Son of Man and is therefore the “bridge” between God and man (John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through the Son that we can have forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7), reconciliation with God (John 15:15; Romans 5:10), and eternal salvation (2 Timothy 2:10). In Jesus Christ “all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9). So, to really know who God is, all we have to do is look at Jesus.

A woman cannot be a prophet but a prophetess. Prophet is a name for a male called in office of prophet. There is no woman prophet.

Every woman calling herself a prophet is a Satan prophet – a false prophet.

Let’s see the truths of a God prophetess in the Bible.

God prophetesses in the Bible

5 women in the Bible are called prophetesses. They are;

1. Miriam 2. Deborah 3. Huldah 4. Isaiah’s wife 5. Anna

Though the 4 daughters of Philip (Acts 21:9) and many women in the Bible prophesied, they are not called prophetesses because not every person who prophesies is a prophet or a prophetess.

There is a reason some women are called prophetesses and others not though they have the gift of prophecy.

Let’s study the relationship side of these God prophetesses. A God Prophetess is either Married, Widow or Under a God Servant

1. Miriam

Miriam was the older sister of Aaron and Moses. It is she who we see in the deliverance of Moses when he was a baby.

Miriam was a prophetess under Moses – without Moses she wasn’t a prophetess

Ex 15:20: And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron

She led women in publicly celebrating and worshiping God after the Israelites cross the Red Sea (Ex 15: 20-21) – she did this under Moses her younger brother.

2. Deborah

Deborah was the wife of Lapidoth. She was married – a God prophetess.

Judges 4:4: And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time

3. Huldah

Huldah was the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah. She was married – a God prophetess.

Kings 22:14 So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe

4. Isaiah’s Wife

Isaiah’s wife was a prophetess. She was married – a God prophetess.

Isaiah 8:3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, ‘Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz’.

Not every woman married to a prophet is a prophetess. Zipporah was married to Prophet Moses and she, Zipporah, was not a prophetess. Hosea’s wife was a harlot.

5. Anna

Luke 2:36-37 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity. And she was a widow of about eighty four years, who departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

Anna was married for 7 years then a widow for 42 years – a God prophetess.

These women in the Bible qualified to be called God prophetesses because they were either married, widows or under a God servant and thus a qualification to any woman who wants to serve God as a prophetess.

God cannot call a woman a prophetess if she is not married, a widow or under His servant.

In the Bible, there is a prophetess mentioned but she wasn’t Gods; Noadiah.

Noadiah was a prophetess against God’s Will, a false prophetess, reason Nehemiah cries to the Lord and says;

Nehemiah 6:14 Remember, O my God, all the evil things that Tobiah and Sanballat have done. And remember the prophetess Noadiah and all the prophets like her who have tried to intimidate me

Noadiah was not a God prophetess because she was intimidating Nehemiah a God prophet and against God’s Will.

All prophetesses not of God intimidate true God prophets and are against God’s Will.

There is also a general qualification for every woman prophesying including prophetesses;

Every woman in the Bible who prophesied is either married, widow, under a God servant or a virgin like Philips 4 daughters. Every woman who prophesies but does not meet this qualification must remain silent.

Remember not every person who prophesies is a prophet or a prophetess. A woman can prophecy and not be a prophetess but she must meet the above criteria.

The gift of prophecy is given to many but not all are prophets. Apostles, healers, deliverers, intercessors, ect have gift of prophecy but they are neither prophets nor prophetesses. The gift is to help them in their specific ministry/calling.

Women covering is not having a literal cover on your head. It is either being in marriage, widow because the husband of widows is Jesus Christ (Psalms 68:5) or being under a true God servant.

False Women Prophetesses in the Church

There are false women prophetesses in the church today. They call themselves prophets not prophetesses. They have rising to be like men, the head, thus they call themselves prophets not prophetesses. They are false prophets.

Women not in marriage, not widows or not under a covering of a God servant are calling themselves God prophetesses. They are liars. They are of Satan; false prophets.

A widow is a woman who her husband died and has not remarried neither being involved in sexual immorality. If you are divorced or separated, you are not a widow neither is a woman whose husband died but involving herself in sexual immorality, thus you do not qualify to be a God prophetess.

A divorced or separated woman cannot be a God prophetess – it is either she goes back to her husband, gets married again if it’s God’s Will or wait until the death of her husband then God can make her His prophetess if it’s His Will.

Every divorced or separated woman calling herself a God prophetess is not but a liar and false prophetess.

Every woman not married nor under a cover of a God servant and calls herself a God prophetess is a liar and a false prophetess

Every woman who God hasn’t called her a prophetess but she is calling herself so even if she has a gift of prophecy, is a liar.

Every woman not a prophetess but prophesying yet not married, a widow, or under a God servant must remain silent

All these false prophetesses have one name – Jezebels. It is Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess – she is a false prophetess.

Rev 2:20 … that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess

See characteristics of Jezebel

If a woman calls herself a prophetess and she is not married, widowed or under a true God servant, she is a Jezebel.

One characteristic of false prophetess/prophet is sexual immorality.

Rev 2:20 … that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication (sexual immorality)

See fornication as used in the Bible

All false prophetesses, Jezebels, are sexually immoral.

They dress, act, talk like prostitutes and though many may not appear as sexual immoral publicly, privately they are.

These are they who are acting like socialites (prostitutes) in public dressing for men to admire and lust and posting their harlotry pictures in every social media and site they can find to be lusted.

Majority of them have/are having kids out of marriage and their kids have no fatherly figure. They are false prophets, Jezebels.

And these women cannot be married because they cannot humble and respect a man. Majority of them are either single, divorced, separated and having kids. Ask them where their husbands are? They are Jezebels – no man can marry them neither can they be married.

When a woman rises to be the head in a family where there is a man, that family is destroyed because two heads cannot exist in the same roof. Women must be taught how to be women not men and men be taught how to be men.

It is for this reason marriages are threatened today. In Jezebels there is no marriages – they destroy marriages and celebrate. They teach women not to be married and give older women younger men to marry them and vice versa. They are after married men and married women to destroy marriages.

And theses Jezebels teach women that they do not need men and yet teaching them sexual immorality and all doctrines of Jezebel. They are raising more prostitutes reason the church today is full of prostitution and sexual immorality. They teach women how to dress to impress men, how to dress to be lusted, how to dress in miniskirts and expose their breast in the name of cleavages, etc, – sexual immorality.

It is for these reason you see sexual immorality has risen so high in the church and in the land. Women say they do not need men yet running after men all over even after married men and women to destroy marriages.

You are already judged for trying to put or putting a marriage asunder. Marriage is honorable in all (Heb 13:4). Whoever teaches you marriage is bad not to enter into is of Satan and judged.

These false prophetesses Jezebels are the carriers and transmitters of demons. They are affiliated by many diseases like cancers, hiv/aids, skin diseases, etc, demons of drunkenness, sexual immorality, etc, and every person under them perishes because of these diseases and they cannot heal/deliver you or heal themselves yet claiming to be God’s – they are not.

No God prophet or prophetess has a ‘church’ (a walled church). If one true prophet/prophetess has, it is a heresy.

These false prophets, Jezebels, have gone to start and lead ‘churches’. When did women start leading the church of Christ? It’s Satan lie.

Look at the church they lead; full of sexual immorality, people perishing in diseases, etc, yet they tell us they are with Jesus Christ. It’s a lie. If Jesus Christ is with them, He will deliver them and all the people under them from these bondage.

What is the judgment of Jezebel?

Jezebel judgment is death – a painful death

2 Kings 9:36-37: And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel. And the carcasses of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel’.

Elijah judged her and so it was. Jesus Christ servants judge.

Ezekiel also prophesied the judgment of all Jezebels

Ezek 13:17 Now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are prophesying from their own inspiration. Prophesy against them and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD … (cont to verse 23)

Yes! God will deliver all His people out of your hand, Jezebel.

God promises to cast Jezebel into a sickbed, her company in great tribulation and kill her children unless they repent

Rev 2:20-23: Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because you have allowed that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a sickbed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Be it Lord as you have decreed. Cast all these false prophetesses, Jezebels, in sickbeds, their company in great tribulation and kill their children if they will not repent. Deliver all your people from them Lord. Amen!

Part of my role as pastor involves mentoring and counseling. With a fairly large church, you can imagine the number of calls I get. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to guide members through various situations in life. I can honestly say I enjoy this aspect of being a pastor immensely. Not too long ago, one of the men from the church came over to my home to meet with me. He had been going through a rough time.

As he sat in my family room, head hung low, he lifted his eyes to mine and said, “Pastor, I feel as if my detour has met another detour and they got married and had a baby.” In other words, he felt as he were running into detour after detour after detour and that the detours merely kept replicating and multiplying rather than taking him anywhere meaningful.

It is easy to feel that way when God is taking you to your destiny. God rarely ever moves you from where you are to where He wants you to be without taking you on a road trip first. He doesn’t go from A to B to C. He goes from A to Z to T to R to F to D, meandering you to your destiny. Before you can ever get to where God wants you to be, He has to do some twists and turns. This is because in life, as it is often on the road, detours exist because construction is taking place. When you are on a highway and there is a detour, it is usually because workers are trying to fix, build, correct or improve something.

Similarly, God will take us on a detour because He is constructing something in our lives as well. Granted, detours are anything but convenient. They take you out of the way. They are longer than you originally had planned to travel. But they are necessary. God is more interested in your development than your arrival. He cares more for your character than your comfort, your purity than your productivity.

But He WILL take you to your destiny if you will trust Him and let Him. What’s more, you’ll get there even faster when you cooperate with Him through humility, surrender and faith.

For His kingdom,

Tony Evans

pathological-waste-compressedAUSTIN, Texas — Abortion advocates have again expressed their opposition to a proposed rule that would mandate abortion facilities to cremate or bury the remains of murdered children instead of disposing of their bodies as medical waste or sending them into the sewer system.

“Legally, practically and morally, these rules are unnecessary,” a statement from Tina Hester of the organization Jane’s Due Process was read aloud during a public hearing on Wednesday.

“These proposed rules are not meant to protect people’s health and safety,” also remarked Yvonne Gutierrez, executive director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes. “They are just another attempt to restrict access to care that’s deeply needed and shame and hurt women in the process.”
