After making an undying and undisputed legacy in the world of professional wrestling, WWE superstar John Cena has seen many opportunities to become part of the Hollywood industry come his way. And every chance that he has got, he has taken it and made the most of it to now become one of the biggest names in the business.

With the effort that he puts into his acting as well as his tremendous physique, it’s only natural that he needs other people to respect him for these attributes. Thus, when he was compared to Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg in one of his films, he was visibly angered by it, letting them know that he was way more built than the star.

John Cena Couldn’t Bear Being Compared To Mark Wahlberg
In the Hollywood industry, there are numerous examples of actors with shredded and toned physiques that rival none other, thus, there are many that always try to fine-tune their fitness so that they may stand out from the rest. John Cena is one of the few actors that people can’t help but notice, all thanks to his hulking frame, and at the same time, his sweet and playful nature. But there was one time when being compared to another superstar felt like he was being insulted, which also made him a little angry.

In his 2015 film Trainwreck, the DC star was seen in a cinema where his talking to his date a little too loudly. Thus, after being interrupted by an audience member, the two came to verbal blows. Then, to address Cena’s character, the audience member calls him Mark Wahlberg. Upon hearing this, Cena visibly feels insulted and calls upon this comment, saying:

“Mark Wahlberg? Me? Mark Wahlberg like a 150 pounds, I am 250, lean. I look like Mark Wahlberg ate Mark Wahlberg!”

While this might just be a scene from a movie, it does reflect how the Bumblebee star prides on his muscular physique.

While John Cena might be focusing on more serious and grave roles in recent times, he is also known for his humorous and funny depictions in many films, one of them being 2015’s Trainwreck. The film follows the story of Amy and her carefree outlook on life with the belief that a monogamous relationship is nothing but a farce. But when she meets Dr. Aaron Connors, she starts to get attracted to him, while her outlook on the subject of a relationship slowly starts to change
