After being traded from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers a few weeks ago, NBA sensation Mo Bamba is in the process of finalizing his affairs in Florida. He has recently put up his penthouse in Orlando for sale at a price of $2.879M.

At the age of 24, Mr. Bamba acquired the penthouse in downtown Orlando in 2018 for approximately $1.7M, merely two months following his selection by the Magic in the 2018 NBA draft. This information comes from property records and Erin Wanner of Stockworth Realty Group, the representative who assisted him during the purchаse.

Erin Wanner, who is currently handling the sale, commented, “This penthouse stands out as a unique and exceptional residence in the Orlando market. Mo exhibited foresight when he invested in this unit, dedicating nearly two years to materializing his vision.”

“He skillfully revitalized the space with opulent top-tier touches and cutting-edge technology. His sense of taste is impeccable, and the next inhabitant of this penthouse is undoubtedly fortunate,” she further added.

The residence, conceptualized by Ted Maines Interiors, showcases personalized wall coverings by Phillip Jefferies, lighting fixtures by Tom Dixon, and advanced smart home features and acoustics from renowned brands like Crestron, Sonance, and Vicoustic. It also boasts English oak and exotic wood flooring, in addition to marble walls and countertops, as highlighted by Ms. Wanner.

Spanning over 4,800 square feet, the penthouse consists of three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a formal living room with integrated seating, a family room featuring a 110-inch projector screen, a formal dining area, and a chef’s kitchen, as outlined in the listing.

The property also includes an expansive wraparound terrace that offers panoramic views of the city skyline, as indicated in the listing.

The listing for the property was initiated last week, with records showing a previous listing price of $2.795M in 2021.

The condominium building, which was finished in 2005, is conveniently situated within a brief walking distance to Lake Eola, Thornton Park, as well as various dining and shopping options. Its amenities encompass a heated pool and spa, a communal space, and round-the-clock security and concierge services.

Mr. Bamba, unfortunately not available for commentary, made his professional debut on October 17, 2018, contributing to the Magic’s 104–101 victory against the Miami Heat. Earlier this month, he became part of a four-team transaction that led to his transfer to the Lakers, involving the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets.
